If your idea of a great and rewarding yoga retreat is a little morning meditation to keep you grounded, a fun filled dynamic flow class followed by a calming and nourishing Yoga Nidra, some of the most amazing and nutritious food you will ever have the pleasure of eating, a sprinkling of afternoon time for you and then the chance to finish each day off with a long and balancing yin class then keep reading.
Tramuntana Flow is a purpose-built fully equipped yoga Shala which allows you to leave your shoes, worries and cares at the door, once inside the outside world just melts away. When you step through the door and slip your shoes off you know you are home.
Every day will start with a different themed meditation, so that you can develop or improve your own meditation practice.
A fast flowing and fun vinyasa flow class with a strong structure in technique and alignment will follow in the yoga Shala where you will have some of the most amazing views of the mountains and the valleys. Our mornings practice will end listening to the bird song and a healing Yoga Nidra.
The most amazing and most colourful vegetarian/vegan brunch will be served on one of the open-air terraces by our in-house chef Abida and the afternoon is then yours to spend sleeping, reading, swimming in the pool or exploring the surrounding area.
The final practice of the day will be a super long rebalancing sensory Yin class, watching the sunset over the mountains. Our evening meal will be alfresco loving and freshly prepared and eaten together under the stars.
This a chance to immerse yourself in all things Yoga for a whole week in this beautiful venue, a chance to find yourself, to improve your practice, to learn more about yourself, to make new friends and to find out more about how your body can work for you within your yoga journey.
I know food is very important to us that's why that during our stay I have asked for Abida to chef for us again, her food is incredible.
Everything will be where possible organic vegetarian and vegans. The food is some of the most colourful, fresh, and varied I have ever eaten and will include, dairy, eggs, vegan, gluten-free options and superfoods.
Each day will start with a fresh smoothie, an amazing 2-course brunch will be served at midday and a 3-course dinner in the evening. Naturally filtrated water, herbal teas, coffee, and fruit will be available throughout your stay.

OUR HOME FOR THE WEEK
Tramuntana Flow is our purpose-built home from home for the week. The centre is located about a 15-minute taxi ride or short train journey from Palma in the charming village of Sa Cabaneta. The centre brings together some fantastic yoga facilities with everything we will ever need, with beautiful twin room accommodation all in the most amazingly peaceful environment.
The Yoga Shala has sliding glass doors to let in the mountain breezes and natural soundtrack. And we also have the use of a stunning outdoor space for our yoga sessions which has spectacular views of the mountains. It also has all the props we will need, mats, blocks, straps, blankets, bolsters and the fun feet up chairs.
The gardens have plenty of space with some lovely big communal dining areas and there are some wonderful places for you to relax, sleep, meditate, maybe for the more adventurous there is the surrounding area to explore or there is always swimming in the pool to float away the day.
My name is Laura and I have been within the fitness industry for nearly 30 years. I started out in the aerobic studios teaching everything that was hi-impact and high energy.
15 years ago, I found yoga and qualified in Ashtanga, along the way developing a passion for teaching fun filled Vinyasa Flow classes and also qualifying and enjoying the healing benefits of Yin Yoga.
I have run retreats for nearly 6 years now and I love the journeys that people take when they join me with time to immerse themselves in all things yoga.
With my original qualification in Ashtanga, I like to teach strong fun sequences with a strong foundation in finding the correct alignment for the individual.
I love to teach, and I feel extremely lucky that I love what I do so much.
4/5 hours of daily practice to include Vinyasa flow, workshops and Yin classes
